OUT TO
LEARN WILLOW
Working for out to learn willow, Imogen Higgins has assisted in the construction of large scale sculptural commissions: Including an eight meter long Bee featured at RHS Cardiff, a set for the Doctor Who spin off ‘Class’ commissioned by the BBC, and a sculptural children's playground in the form of a Mermaid diving among waves in the 'Little Folk' area of the Green Man 2018 Festival.
Through Imogen’s ongoing work with Out to Learn Willow, she has developed and refined her large scale willow work and has incorporated many of the techniques learned from professional willow sculptor Mel Basier into her own practice.
